Welcome to PlantarFasciitisInserts.com
We’re Bob and Lisa, a husband-and-wife team who know firsthand how frustrating, painful, and disruptive plantar fasciitis can be.
We built this site to share practical experience, research-supported information, and product guidance for people who are trying to get back on their feet and make smarter choices about relief, recovery, shoes, and support.

Why We Created This Website
When Lisa first dealt with plantar fasciitis more than 15 years ago, it was hard to find useful information gathered in one place. The advice felt scattered. Some of it was helpful. Some of it was vague. Some of it was little more than guesswork.
Years later, when Bob developed plantar fasciitis too, we realized that problem had not gone away. Helpful information was still spread across random websites, product pages, and forums, with very little in one place to help people figure out what to try next.
So we created PlantarFasciitisInserts.com to be the kind of resource we wish we had found earlier: practical, straightforward, and focused on helping people make sense of their options.
Our Personal Experience
Lisa has dealt with plantar fasciitis more than once, including a particularly rough episode while on tour singing in Italy. While the band was out exploring Milan, she spent time in a hotel lobby with a bag of frozen peas under her foot. That is not exactly the glamorous version of travel people put on postcards.
Bob learned a different lesson the stubborn way. It turned out that ignoring the problem, skipping stretches, and hoping it would magically improve was not a winning strategy. (Bob note: “Hey, I’m a guy. It’s how we operate.”) Real progress only started when he took daily stretching seriously and began using cork shoe inserts that gave his feet better support.
Those experiences did not make us medical experts. But they did make us highly motivated to understand the problem better and share what may help others avoid some of the confusion, wasted time, and pain we went through.

What This Site Is — and Isn’t
We are not doctors, podiatrists, or medical professionals. Bob is a writer, and Lisa is a musical and visual artist.
Everything on this site is intended for informational purposes only and should not be taken as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our goal is to share what we’ve learned, point readers toward helpful resources, and make the search for relief a little less confusing. We also included reputable medical links under each section so you can verify the advice is legitimate.
